Grants
What do we support?
The Mason-Glazier Fund for Jewish Identity makes grants for programs based on the following criteria:
1. The program encourages connections between Jews and other Jews, or between Jews and Judaism.
2. The program seeks to reach Jews during their post-college, pre-family years.
3. The program is pluralistic and egalitarian.
4. The program operates in Miami-Dade County, Florida.
The Fund particularly welcomes grant requests for programs which seek to engage Jews with weaker connections to the Jewish community.
Grants may not be made directly to individuals or to organizations without a 501(c)(3) sponsor.
The Fund distributes between $50,000 and $100,000 in grants each year.
Grant applicants should send an initial inquiry to mgJewish@gmail.com. The initial inquiry should briefly describe the program for which funds are sought, state an estimate of the amount of funds needed, and affirm that the program is consistent with the four criteria stated above.
